Lensbaby – Part 2
I have been having so much fun with my Lensbaby I thought I would do another post. For those of you who missed the first Lensbaby post, go back and read it in the bloglist to find out what a Lensbaby is and what it does. But if you don’t want to do that, I’ll just tell you that the Lensbaby is a lens that allows you to focus on part of your subject and blur everything else. How much blurring happens depends on a couple of factors: the type of lens that you have and how much aperture or lens opening you have set on the lens.
The blur can look so beautiful on flowers, but you cannot blur the whole flower. There needs to be a place where there is sharp focus. This is a rough requirement for me because my eyesight is not as good as it used to be. I need to get one of those Hoodman things that you hang around your neck and it will give you magnification you need to see if you have gotten your subject in focus.
Flowers aren’t the only subject that works with Lensbaby. There are many. It’s wide open folks. Here are a few that I have found.
